Ok, so. I'm writing this right after finishing a very rough outline of what will happen there like a madman after 2 hours of sleep. I actually had these 2 characters for 6 years at least, and they had gone through A LOT of changes, because I was never sure of what do I do exactly with them.

So I had a lot of concepts for their worlds they live in. But all of these concepts had a very fundamental flaw: I was trying to tackle deeply serious issues either by making everything too real to the dreadful point or was using wacky allegories for societal issues no better than Zootopia (yeah…). When I started developing Unbelievable Journos (in my head, mostly, lmao), I had this issue as well. If I wrote everything about what journalists in my country go through I'd go insane, I literally just can't handle it, not only because I'm afraid of not doing them justice and because of not having energy to do shit ton of research all alone, but simply because it will be boring to read and I'll catch a depression episode. I simply won't have fun with it at all!

So my decision is to ramp up cartoonism and make everything more "dumb" on purpose. And I clearly have to watch more stuff to get ideas. Thankfully now I have another project that is less ambitious and more self-indulgent (I'll write about it later) to take a break from this one, so hopefully I won't burn out. My writings are still too raw to share, but I'm kinda getting there.
